The Tucker Family Fall Mini Session {Nashville Pet Photographer}

The Tucker Family have been my clients for many years, and I truly appreciate them coming back to me for their yearly furry family updates. This year we went to Smith Park in Brentwood and got some fun fall photos with their amazing pack! Click here to see their extended family session with their pets from a couple years ago. Each year they take a photo with a photo - starting with an image from their wedding!

Here is all the info about their three lovable pups:

Nana is five year old husky/great pyrenees/pittie mix adopted from Rutherford County PAWS. Her original name at the shelter was Nanook, but they shortened it to Nana which fit her old grandma "get off my lawn" personality! Her favorite things are walks, belly rubs and bossing everyone around. Although she can be a protector of her people, she can also be totally silly.

Briley is their 6 year old treeing walker coonhound mix, whom they also found at Rutherford County PAWS. Katie said, "Her name at the shelter was Peanut . . . which had to go." So they took a few days to think about a new name, and they thought Briley sounded the sweetest for such a sweet dog. He's a big fan of riding in the car, chewing bulky sticks and taking up all the space in the bed.

Last, but definitely not least, is Josi (Yo-C)! He's a 3 year old Aussie/Pittie/cocker spaniel mix who was dumped in a local park. Katie says she was in the right place at the right time to find him, and now he's a big part of the family! She named him after the Nashville Predators defenseman, Roman Josi. Josi isn't a fan of peanut butter, but he does love playing with toys, being in everyone's personal space, and going on walks. Their favorite thing about him is his goofy personality -- and of course those freckles!

Hope you enjoy a few of my favorites!

RARE Adoptables {Nashville Pet Photographer}

As you may have seen before, I often work with local animal organizations to help promote their adoption and foster programs. I recently captured some photos for RARE, also known as Rural Animal Rescue Effort, based out of Middle Tennessee.

RARE is a non-profit whose mission is to "rescue neglected and abandoned animals in the most rural areas of Tennessee" and aims to find forever homes for them in more populated areas of the state!

Below you'll get a chance to see two of their adoptable pets, one cat and one dog. Axel is a sweet Australian Shepherd/Rottweiler mix and is house trained and ready to find his new family! He's also pretty energetic and would be the perfect fit for someone who is active.

Dinah is a beautiful tortoiseshell mix, with brown and black colors on her coat. She's onlyone and a half years old, and loves to curl up and purr softly in your lap.

If you are interested in adopting either of these animals, head on over to RARE's adoption application online to get started!

And if you can't adopt please share so we can find these two their furever homes.
