The Daigle Family {Nashville Pet Photographer}

Right before Christmas, we took a little trip to visit our friends, the Daigle family! They used to live in Nashville, and now are back home in Fort Kent, Maine. We had a blast with a mini family and pet session at Rick's parents place!

Meet Rick, Cassie and their son, Keegan -- who has the cutest smile! Not only does he love his puppies, he loves to act like a puppy himself sometimes!

Their adorable pups are Molly, Layla and Hank. Molly is a border collie/Great Pyrenees mix who was adopted from Austin Humane Society. She's also SUPER friendly and definitely loves to be in your personal space, asking for love by putting her paw on you.

Layla was adopted from Austin Pets Alive and originally had the name Kara. She's also very sweet and the most relaxed and laid back of the three dogs. Hank's original name was Guacamole! Before they adopted them, Cassie and Rick knew they wanted a Layla and a Hank, and I think their newer names fit them well. :) Hank is the protector of the house, but once he warms up to you, also just a love!

All of them love to play with other dogs, and can't get enough rawhide treats. They're all very snuggly and friendly, and have huge personalities that I just loved! Last, but not least, we also took a quick photo of the family with one of the oldest horses on the farm, named Bonnie.

Enjoy some of my favorites!

The Lipscomb Family {Nashville Family Photographer}

On the blog this week are some familiar faces: the Lipscombs! I love being able to watch families grow and I'm thankful I get to capture moments like these time and time again. You can see one of my favorite previous sessions with them by heading on over to Bea's newborn session with their dogs. This time, we had some fun taking fall portraits, complete with big smiles and large pumpkins!

Bea is growing up so quickly and is already finding her own personality. She loves Peppa Pig and all things Frozen. She also enjoys her ballet class, singing loudly in quiet places and dressing up like a princess.

Bea's oldest fur buddy, Bella, is a 12-year-old cavalier King Charles spaniel. The Lipscombs love that cavaliers are known for their calm demeanor and snuggles. Their other two newest additions to the family  are Georgie (a 5-month-old Lagotto Romagnolo) and Finn (a mix who was named after the mischievous Mark Twain character). Finn is a rescue from Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue

Hope you enjoy my favorites!

The Tucker Family {Nashville Pet Photographer}

On the blog this week is the Tucker Family! It's always so fun to see familiar faces, and I've had the opportunity to photograph Katie and Paul for the past two years (you can see last year's photos here!).

This year, they brought Katie's family along for the photos, including her mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, brother and his sweet pup Waylon. Katie even made the collars all the dogs wore for the day!

Katie's brother, Andrew, named his dog after his favorite musician Waylon Jennings. This adorable pup is only three years old and is a boxer/pittie/hound mix adopted from Putnam County Animal Shelter. He loves riding in the truck and being around all people. He's also a very loyal dog, and always up for any activity or adventure!

The other three furry family members you'll see in my favorites below are Katie and Paul's dogs Nana, Briley and their new addition Josi!

Nana is five year old husky/great pyrenees/pittie mix adopted from Rutherford County PAWS. Her original name at the shelter was Nanook, but they shortened it to Nana which fit her old grandma "get off my lawn" personality! Her favorite things are walks, belly rubs and bossing everyone around. Although she can be a protector of her people, she can also be totally silly.

Briley is their 6 year old treeing walker coonhound mix, whom they also found at Rutherford County PAWS. Katie said, "Her name at the shelter was Peanut . . . which had to go." So they took a few days to think about a new name, and they thought Briley sounded the sweetest for such a sweet dog. He's a big fan of riding in the car, chewing bulky sticks and taking up all the space in the bed.

Last, but definitely not least, is Josi (Yo-C)! He's a 3 year old Aussie/Pittie/cocker spaniel mix who was dumped in a park when his previous owner decided he could no longer keep him. Katie says she was in the right place at the right time to find him, and now he's a big part of the family! She named him after the Nashville Predators defenseman, Roman Josi, when the team was in the Stanley Cup Play-Off run. Although he isn't a fan of peanut butter, he does love playing with toys, being in everyone's personal space, and going on walks. Their favorite thing about him is his goofy personality -- and of course those freckles!

Hope you enjoy these favorites!
